Modern Care Dental Hygiene is an independently owned dental hygiene practice dedicated to providing client-centered, high-quality oral care in Kingston, Napanee, Gananoque, and the surrounding areas. With over a decade of experience in the field, our approach combines expert preventive care with a strong focus on education, empowering clients to take charge of their oral health. Geraldine Ross, RDH
CEO & OWNER
Geraldine Ross is a Self-Initiated Independent Registered Dental Hygienist and the founder of Modern Care Dental Hygiene. With over a decade of hands-on clinical experience, Geraldine is passionate about providing client-centered preventive care and helping people feel confident in their oral health.
Beyond the clinic, she has taken on leadership roles, including serving as President of the Kingston and District Dental Hygienists’ Society, where she focused on mentorship, continuing education, and fostering collaboration within the dental community.
Geraldine believes that building trust, offering personalized care, and empowering clients with knowledge are the keys to a positive dental hygiene experience.
Amy Currie, BSc RRDH
REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
Amy Currie is a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist with a Bachelor of Science in Oral Health. A seasoned clinician, she brings international experience and a strong commitment to continuing education.
As president-elect of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association and a quality assurance coach, Amy is a leader in both clinical care and professional advocacy.
Sarita Bird, CDA II
DIRECTOR, ORAL CARE PROGRAM
Sarita Bird is a Certified Level II Dental Assistant with a passion for senior oral health care. As Director of the Oral Care Program, she brings energy, compassion, and a holistic perspective to her work. Her commitment to wellness and her hands-on experience as a caregiver make her an invaluable advocate for the aging population.
Sarah Ennis
ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
Sarah Ennis is the organizational heart of Modern Care Dental Hygiene. From client to key team member, she now oversees scheduling, internal processes, and client communications. Her positive attitude and attention to detail ensure a seamless experience for both clients and the care team.
